We are finally home...Update Page 6
And I first and foremost want to thank each and everyone of you for the thoughts and prayers you have been sending Kerri and our family over the past few days. It meant so much to us to come on here and see the love and support from our online family, it helped us get through things to know we had so many prayers coming our way...Thank You! 
Kerri had 3 seizures on Tuesday...they were not able to give us a definitive reason why but I have my suspicions. She was very sick over the weekend with vomiting and diarrhea leading up to Tuesday. She had also started a new vitamin at this time which listed seizures as a side effect. Testing in the hospital came back normal, except the EEG showed she had slightly more then normal spikes in her brain activity and because of this will have to be put on medicine 2x daily for two years. If she is seizure free in this time she can get off the medicine
It was definitely not the way I had envisioned her first birthday and I think that contributed even more to how hard this was on us.....but the hospital made every effort to make the day special with a little birthday party in her room. I have been taking monthly pictures on the 23rd since she was a month old and we wanted to have some of her first birthday regardless.....so here are some. She was a trooper and was as happy and smiley as usual, except when she was getting poked and prodded.
She is in good spirits and back to her usual self...she got a good sleep....but not sure if I ever will again....so here she is...

YAY! Kerri is home. I am so glad and relieved. Moe- As you probably know, I love you guys and was so worried about you both. Please let me know if there is anything I can do.
In the meantime, I will be sure to be doing a prayer for Kerri, everyday for the next two years.
How are YOU holding up Momma?
ETA- She looks gorgeous, glowing and smiley, as usual! JAG and I LOVE her.

Moe - I can't even imagine what you guys have been through this week, but let me tell you - I have not stopped thinking about you guys.
Now a question - will they continue monitoring her with EEG's? Or other testing within these 2 years?
---FYI... I was on medicine for seizures when I was little (a little bit older than Kerri) - but I was so young - I didn't even realize what they were for - my parents told me they were vitamins

Whew! I'm so glad you're home!!! I can only imagine how grateful you are that it's not something serious.
I know this isn't how you envisioned her first birthday. I hope when she turns 18 you'll be looking at these pictures & thinking, "You scared the cr@p out of me! & now you think you're getting the car keys?!"
I know she's on medication but you & your family are still in my prayers for continued health!

Great news that you are home and lots of prayers and hugs to kerri for the next two years Even in her hospital bed she was smiling...such an amazing little girl.
Hope you and your DH can breathe a sigh of relief now...maybe you can have a delayed birthday celebration this holiday weekend.
