WAYYYY TMI!!!!!!!!!! But need some major opinions

OK So when I was 12 wks pregnant I went on Zithromax for bronchitis. I was on it for 2 wks, got a yeast infection after having to take it that long. Well here I am 20 wks pregnant on Sunday and this is my 4th time getting a yeast infection since then. Went to the dr the first time told me to take the Monistat 7, so I did. Well every time its coming back Im doing the same. Taking the Monistat. Now I cant take this anymore! I have the start of another one!!!!!!! Can it be something else thats wrong with me or am I just a yeast infection freak?

And also can be affected by this? I hope not

Our bodies tend to get these infections more when we are prego . I am on my 3rd UTI and Im 28 wks prego I have decided to start drinking cranberry juice everyday so hopefully that will help !!

i think is fine but i don't know about the recurring yeast infections - definitely talk to your dr about that, there may be an antibiotic you can take along with the monistat. hope you feel better soon!!

its so uncomfortable especially being at work all day long!! Especially when DH wants to get it on and I always have to tell him NO WAY THAT WOULD HURT!!! Hes like what are you talking about? I say dont even worry about it.

I think cranberry juice is for UTI's.....you should be eating Yogurt.....and lots of it!

Yeah it is cranberry juice. But here is a lil anecdote to make you laugh. When someone told me about that remedy, I thought it was a holistic treatment and questioned if should be consumed or applied topically. I felt like an a$$, but it is still the source of many laughs.

You need to eat some yogurt and def tell your dr. about it. I know alot of preggos that are prone to yeast infections while preggo.
