I can pretty much do any day, but figured more mommies were available on weekends. whatever works for the majority is fine by me.

Barb is doing a fundraiser for DebG. We get together adn she'll take pics of our kids (she's an AWESOME photographer) in return for a donation of $25. For an extra $5 she'll burn you a cd of the pics.

Can you guys scout out a good location there?
Cathy - I know you said there was a park nearby.
What I'm looking for is big trees, brick buildings, lawns, wood platforms/docks. I'm not familiar with Wantagh outside of my drunken Jones Beach concert series days. Preferable a lot of shade???

I grew up in Wantagh, but it is kinda far for me now. But Wantagh park is very nice, there are trees, there is a kiddie area, there is an area where the boats are, and near the public pool there is a little beach area, that is very nice.

I can't wait for this either. The pictures I've seen so far are beautiful. And its such a nice thing to do. Wantagh Park would probably work. Its very large so there are lots of areas to choose from. Its located just south of Merrick Road by the Wantagh Pkwy.

At wantagh park there are some trees, as well as a gazebo and some docks. I have never gone down to the beach area but there is a beach --- and the kiddie play area....which is up by the front of the park and there is more shade...
lemme see if I can dig up a pic or two of it!

OK -- these are just very limited pics of wantagh park that I had --- you can't see the gazebo in them. it is a HUGE park with a lot of areas ---- so this is just at the end by the water...
