Want to donate Air Conditioner to Poor
I have an air conditioner in my house I have no plans on using. Its taking up space in my storage room and I want it out of my house.
Is there a charity that will come to my house to pick it up?

I don't know if they will pick it up (which may be the whole reason you are donating it), but Habitat for Humanity in Suffolk takes donations of household appliances that are in good condition for their homeowners. The # is (631) 924-4966 and they are located in Middle Island.
If you aren't looking for a deduction, you could list it on Nassau's freecycle site and I am sure someone would pick it up from your curb.

United Cerabal Palsey Assoc takes donations of all kinds. call this $ 516-466-6868. they will schedule a pickup for you and give you a receipt for the deduction..I donate here all the time!
