I agree. And no food court either. And if you remember the mall way back when...well, let's just say it's come a LOOOONG way! Although McCrory's had a pet section.

I agree - I have a friend who lives in Nassau, we sometimes meet there and I'm always annoyed that there is no Ny & co.

too many expensive stores...they need more "normal" stores to balance it out

Food court is in the works and they are bringing the movie theater back. I believe this will happen in 2009-10.

Re: Walt Whitman mall - thoughts?

I enjoy Whitman. It's never overly crowded and I love walking around Saks...my mom bought her gown there for our wedding and it always makes me think of the fun day we had shopping for it. DH loves to go to Whitman, too, b/c there's a Brooks there and he likes the Banana so I can always get him to come with!

I like that it's a bit smaller with not so many people.

Re: Walt Whitman mall - thoughts?

Its the closest one to me, so I go there whenever I need a gift, plus it has a few kid stores there, which was great when Cailen was born and I needed an escape on maternity leave...

I like it. I like that's its smaller than RF and has the stores I need. I do go to Broadway Mall in Hicksville too because it's got a Target (and who doesn't love a Target!) and a NY&Co.

I like it bc there is a Saks and L&T there. But the rest is just standard.
