How is it ok to do this when the vaccine doesn’t have full FDA approval?
You know the FDA approval is a foregone conclusion, right? It's just paperwork at this point. In the meantime, everyone's singular goal is ending this pandemic and squashing COVID as best we can.
Honest question, does something change for you once it's approved because you mention the FDA approval a lot. Will you then get vaccinated? I mentioned in another post that cuomo is just making it up as he goes....suddenly everyone’s excelsior pass is valid for a year? We still don’t know if the vaccine is effective for a year. No one is being tested for their antibodies. Also, natural antibodies don’t count....which is ridiculous. All along we have been told to follow the science....but it’s only when it works in their favor. No other state is doing this.
Offering incentives to encourage people to be vaccinated is really not a big deal. It doesn't take away YOUR choice but if a few extra people end up vaccinated then all the better for society as a WHOLE. Our government is charged with protecting the public interest, they haven't been perfect but the overriding goal has always been to get this under control and keep us safe.

At this point, you're really embarrassing yourself. Your comments are so foolish and devoid of any level of understanding about science. Again, go educate yourself. She's made fun of people who have taken the virus seriously and considers anyone that does, "scared". She's also made mention many times of her mother and how she basically makes fun of her as well for following COVID restrictions and for even getting vaccinated.

This is the same person who has repeatedly bragged on this board about how she never stopped living her fabulous life and even when we were locked down she was out and about seeing people while her kids were having sleepovers all without a mask. She's made fun of people who have taken the virus seriously and considers anyone that does, "scared". She's also made mention many times of her mother and how she basically makes fun of her as well for following COVID restrictions and for even getting vaccinated.
She's a joke. Her comments are condescending, misinformed, ignorant and flat out foolish. God knows why she keeps at it. At this point anything she puts out there is nothing more than an LIF comedy show.

I have followed Covid restrictions the entire time in public and I am annoyed with my mother because she was peer pressured into something she talked about never getting for months on end.
Get your facts straight all high and mighty who sat at home and still got Covid. I surely would be having a talk with my spouse if they came home with Covid especially when they were being careful when they were out.
I'm sure your mom wanted the vaccine all along but just didn't know how to tell her dippy daughter with no understanding of science that.
Good for her for getting vaccinated.
Dippy lololol. Nope and she was actually embarrassed to tell me about her side effect she got. I am glad she did though as I never heard of it and I worry about her even though she is in perfect health.
I am sad that she didn’t really think for herself this time in life though.

J&J was put on hold for like a week and then it was back.
Also, ONE boy in Utah with a reaction isn't remotely significant. MILLIONS have had the vaccine with no issues. Unless thousands upon thousands to millions start having clotting issues, there is really nothing to discuss. One or even a handful of people isn't remotely enough of a sample size to deem anything unsafe, those people are the outliers and not the norm.
