UPDATED: Saturday night wedding, Vineyard Caterers, what to wear?

The invitation is sort of informal but professionally done. I will probably not have time to shop or have a new dress altered before then.

Vineyard caterers is among the North Fork wineries.

If I pick from what I own, my choices are between the gown that I wore for my installation or another dress that is short and floral but has some black beading around the waist.

I do not have a photo of the floral dress. This is the gown. I think I would wear my hair down to be a bit more casual.

I would wear the gown. I was married there and it is not an informal place at all. It is also a Saturday night and I tend to dress more formal for evening functions. Have fun, the food is amazing!!

I wore the gown!!!!!! I did not feel overdressed at all. There were some people who were more casual than I was but there was really a mix of everything. It was an incredible wedding!!!! They had so many "extras"----fireworks display, awesome food, beautiful flowers. The cocktail hour started at 6:30PM. The band did not stop until midnight and then they had a DJ there until 2AM. The bar was open for the entire after party. The dance floor was packed all night.

My husband jokingly asked a waiter for a hotdog. Well, the waiter brought him 2 hotdogs with his meal .
