****updated 11/26 w more pics****YAY!!!Basement is almost there
We bought our house in August with the intention of finishing the basement and my dad (thank G-d) is doing it all for us. We really havent spent a lot of money at all and what used to be a cement basement now has a ceiling, painted walls, new windows, 2 closets, a cut in entertainment center, and a laundry room!!!
I am so exicted I could jump up and down. Our upstairs is VERY small and this gives us a TON more room.
Here are some pics.. what do you guys think?

We did the same to my inlaws basement a few years back so we could live in it!! I can feel your excitement cause I know how I felt!!

Your renovations are great, it gives me hope that we really can make some serious changes when we get around to redoing our basement.

Nice! We are starting on ours in Dec. I can't wait to have the extra space. I really like the color walls! We wan to do something similar but maybe a little greener.

The darker walls are ralph lauren suede paint.. very easy to do and hides anything!!!
The lighter walls are whateevrbrand they sell at Loews...and I cant think of the color.
