Update on my insurance problems....
Last Thursday we found out that coverage for my IUI was denied because you have to have a one year history of the inability to conceive and the one year timeframe starts all over again if there is a m/c, and even though we have been trying since August 06, I have had two m/c's. BUT, I put the wrong date of my first m/c I wrote Nov 07 instead of 06, so they think my inability to conceive is 5 months which is actually 1 year this month because my second m/c was May of last year. So my RE resubmitted my claim to the appeals with the corrected dates, Now I just have to pray that AF will stay away a little while longer so that if the claim gets approved we can start ASAP, but unfortunately I think she is around the corner....and who knows how long this is going to take to process, unfortunately paying out of pocket isn't an option at this point for us

If you dont mind me asking what insurance plan do you have. I had a mc in january and im hoping this isnt the case for us.

Carefirst BCBS, but I am in VA. It actually says in my plan booklet, that infertility is a year of inabililty to concieve...I didn't know m/c counted..
