Ummm, how am I suppose to put child in my car when
someone decides to park to close to me in the parking lot  . I was able to open the door but only about 5 inchs, definitly not wide enough to get the carrier in so I had to wait for the guy on the other side of me to leave his spot so I could snap him in through the other side. Does anyone else go through this. What do you do if you can get the baby in.

It is very annoying, but there really is nothing you can do, unless you want to wait in your car till the person comes out and moves it, or you just do what you did, put him in his seat from the other side of the car.

I hate that. I especially hate when I specifically pull into the left hand space of two empty spaces on purpose so that I'll have plenty of room to get her out and someone takes the second space at the same time and pulls in close  just happened at the mall the other day

Oh it happened to me when I had Andrew and was 9 months pregnant with Lauren. Want to know what made me really angry  there was a woman sitting in the car in the passenger seat and did nothing to even offer to move her car.... Here I am HUGE trying to get Andrew in his car seat from the other side of the car. I really wanted to open my door and just smash her car with it.... But I didn't. And to top it off, I placed the books we had just gotten at the library on the top of the car while I tried ot play Houdini and forgot about them and drove off. Darn that lady!

I would have been so mad too. I really dont understand how people are so inconsiderate. I also think these paving and striping companies need to make the parking spaces wider. I always try to get a spot at the end or by a cart carial that way the passenger side no one can park next to but that rarely happens. I noticed that the spots are tighter by Roosevelt Field Mall also.
