Does anyone else have a child that doesnt like that car?

DS is 5 weeks old and he doesnt like the car ride or even the stroller. The only way we can go anywhere alone is if his asleep and what usually happens is the minute I put him in the carrier and get the seat belts around him he wakes up and we have to start all over. Is/was anyone's child like this? I do have the mirror with the music and lights and I put it on for him but it is hit or miss when I put it on. It is getting depressing not being able to go out once you can, not even for walks because he cry's in the stroller too.

My ds was EXACTLY like yours. He really did not enjoy either until he was 4 months old. If the car was moving he was better, but the stroller didn't matter. He didn't like the stroller until I sat him up facing out in the regular stroller because he is so nosey. Now he falls asleep in both all the time.

My sister's daughter is almost 3 months and still screams hysterically when she is in the car.

You may have some luck with a baby bjorn or sling for walks. That won't help with the car, but at least it will let you get outsie!!

My DD doesn't really like the car seat either, sometimes she will fall asleep, but other times she screams her head off, I can barely go anywhere besides someone house! I am hoping it gets better soon, she is 10 weeks old now...
