Ugh...really hard time
My normally lovely happy life is so crap at the moment...
So here goes my vent, if every single one of you doesn't send me hugs, I am going to board a plane to JFK, come to your houses and smack you around the ears with a kipper. Be warned.
So where do I start...okay, last week Noah was sick, while he was sick I was managing the biggest project of my career (recruiting 56 customer service advisors a month for the UK's biggest mobile phone company...) The client, albeit a very lovely really nice girl, is the neediest, most unsure person in the world...I had to spend almost a whole week babysitting her and her ego...so while Noah was being sick and throwing up I was on the phone (my personal mobile phone) with this girl. So I had to struggle to get childcare for Noah on the Monday when the project went live...couldn't find anyone to take him..my IN LAWS had to come up from London to look after him. They barely survived, they couldn't wait to leave town on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Tuesday night my husband comes down with something...I am nearly sure that he has glandular fever (mono) he has been bedridden since Monday night, he can barely stand let alone help me with Noah. So guess what happens the next day MY BACK GOES. I am sure I have a ruptured or bulging disc. So my back is killing me, I have to go down to London for the day...very sick hubby has to take the kid to nursery and pick him up. Now its Thursday...I can barely stand up let alone take care of the kid....husband still in bed. Back killing me, go to work today...feeling better but I feel like everything is falling apart. Our house is a mess (well more of a mess than usual) there is a pile of clean laundry on the sofa (which I am going to go fold now) There is no food in the house, I am broke this month...I have no idea where my money went...
And thank goodness...my parents are arriving on Wednesday.
Anyone got anything better???
eta...I was supposed to go out to dinner tonight with my Yummy Mummy friends and my husband said that if Noah woke up, he didn't think he could cope. So here I am...
