tomorrow will be 12 weeks
i dont write on here much and typing this makes me cry more than ever..
tomorrow will be 12 weeks since my daughter, peyton, was born (nov 12th).. I cant believe I should have a 3 month old in my harms at this point, but instead she is in heaven...
she passed away after 5 days in the NICU.. at delivery she passed a bowel movement and ended up choking on it which stopped her breathing.. the doctors think she wasnt breathing for anout 8 minutes.. I had an emergency c-section... She suffered from lack of oxygen to the brain and was on 100% oxygen along with a million other machines.. she was perfect on the ouside and looked like me.. but she was so hurt on the inside.. DH and I made the awful decision to take her off life support.. she passed away within 10 minutes in our arms (nov 17th)
i just cant believe it.. i should have a 3 month old and the best 2 year old at home now and i dont... my son is the best and im loving every second i have with him but its hard some days...

I'm in tears reading your story. I am searching my mind for something to say to make you feel better, because I c annot even fathom the pain you went through or are going through now.
Are you in counseling now? I really hope you are. I would think it can help you heal.
I'm so so sorry for your loss, your daughter will be in my prayers and so will you and your family.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I shared somewhat of a similar experience. I was pregnant with twins and one of them passed away after delivery. His surviving twin brother, is now 2.5 years old. I too had to have an emergency c-section because the heart rate of my baby who passed away was erratic. When I delivered him, he was not crying and was rushed to the NICU. He had already passed merconium while inside of me. Hours later, they could not save him and he passed away. It was actually a miracle that I did not lose both babies.
I completely understand how you feel. When I read your story, it broke my heart, not only because it is so sad, but because it completely reminds me of how I felt and still feel. I went on to have another baby just over a year later. I will never forget the baby I lost and he will always be my son.
