Toddler Moms - What is your kid obsessed with at the moment?
Nate is obsessed with the movie CARS. He's got the movie, die cast cars, large plastic cars of McQueen and Mater, pillow book, regular books, suitcase, backpack, and tent. He keeps getting random Cars stuff from family and friends bc they know he loves it.
We got 12 +inches of snow on Friday, so we've been cooped up in the house. I've watched that movie 3 times daily.  He'd watch it more if we let him. It's amazing bc every time he watches it's like the first time.
Forgot to add: Storytime Theater.

We read books ALL day!!
That is why I am always on the lookout for more, cause I am soooo tired of the ones we have already
And most of them we just got!
We read them over and over and over and over.
I am sure some of you know what I am talking about!

Sarah - books (especially Charlie and Lola, getting sick of them) and puzzles. And dressing up in costumes and pretending all kinds of wacky scenes.
Andy - Coloring, we have Aquadoodle in the den and he carries the pen constantly. And Blues Clues.

Well besides everything to do with Cars, he's loving Toy Story.
He is also very occupied with Play Doh and reading books.

Shoes, if you can believe it! She has to put on EVERY pair of shoes she sees and wear them around the house. When we're in the store, she HAS TO hold a pair of shoes if we're anywhere near the shoes
On top of that, she's obsessed with the Doodlebops. If I hear about Deedee, Rooney and Moe one more time I'm going to scream!

of course he is also obsessed with his Matchbox cars...and BUTTER
He has to see the butter on the pancakes ..god fordbid it melts
all I hear is "more butter"
When he wakes up in the morning we usually hear "waffles with butter?" or "watch Dora?"

Hayley is now obsessed with Monsters Inc. She watches it daily as I get ready for work. She would watch it 24/7 if I let her.

Shoes- she loves to carry them all over the house so when it comes time to put them on her, I can never find them.
Books- the same ones, over and over until I am ready to scream! And we have over 100 books to choose from.
Our car keys- again, I spend hours looking for them!

Cars (as in from the movie) as well as plain ol' cars, trucks and trains...
He is also really into art- crayons, markers, paint, stickers, anything!!!

books... specifically the book Tails and Dogs- with the push/pull and fuzzy feel features. She prefers book with real life photos of animals- she likes to point to the animals she knows and make the noises.
Elmo & cookie monster.
jewelry- she loves anything- necklaces, watches, etc- and when she sees you wearing it she'll say, "how pretty"

DS  (3.5) - he's obsessed with
* watching the garbage men pick up our trash (cries in a temper tantrum if he misses them when he is at school)
* watching the mailman deliver mail (same obsession as above)
* picking out things - he HAS to pick the parking spot, the shopping cart, the glass he's going to use....
DD  (21 months) - her Rae bunny (we affectionately call it Rae Rae) and her blanket (she looks like Linus walking around). And her hat. Which is too big, but she insists on wearing it. She looks like a homeless lady (notice she is complete with shopping cart and all). Notice her unkempt hair (thinks she needs a cut!) and her 2 Rae bunnies...

Katherine is obsessed with her Disney Princess dress-up trunk, brushing her teeth and, as others have said...BOOKS, BOOKS, BOOKS. I'm an English teacher and even I'm like, "Enough already with the books!!!!!!!!!!!"
