Re: TMI question RE:shaving

Oh man I gave up so long ago- I don't even want to KNOW what it looks like down there.Chat Icon Chat Icon It got so difficult.

I used to use the hair removal creams- actually I was using it for a while and then one day I thought SHIIIIT!!!! I shouldn't be doing this while preggo!!! I didn't do it that often- just now and then when I was getting lazy with the shaving.

I wish I could come up with the courage to wax- but NEVER!!Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

ETA: I totally forgot I was using that removal cream stuff on my belly for a while!!! All of a sudden, heading toward 3rd tri...I could not BELIEVE all the hair accumulating on my belly!Chat Icon I didn't use too much of it...but I hated the idea of stubble on my belly!!!

Did anyone else's belly get out of control hairy? I usually get a little as it is under the belly button - but now it's all over the place!Chat Icon Chat Icon

I looked it up on google if it's safe or not and this is the reply I found:
hair removal creams

I have continued to shave even though I can't see. I just try to feel around even though there are spots I miss Chat Icon I just can't stand if I didn't shave!

Same here! I have tried using a mirror but it's annoying. I might give up soon and just go for a wax because last night I cut myself 3 times! I've also asked DH to help but I don't know how much I trust him with a razor!

OMG what grew during the first/second tri was unbelievable!!!!
It was dark. I shaved it once and it came back with a vengeance! It was a crazy treasure trail.I realized this was definately a job for a professional. I was getting it waxed, which hurt a lot. It slowed down now...thank god.

After having my belly waxed, I dont think I could do a bikini wax. Yikes, it was painful!
She tried to convince me on a bikini while I was in there, but I told her, " i cant take much more of this!" Chat Icon

Razors are out, last time I tried it was a mess. I'm sticking with an electric "trimmer" now and that's as good as it's going to get until I can see again.

oh man look at my belly pics and you'll see!! i can't stand any hair on it so i'll sit there and pluck (after shaving it a few days it comes back) and now i have red dots all over my belly. it's probably the biggest reason why i never got maternity photos done (which i completely regret) it's horrible!!
