well, there was a house we saw with gorgeous plantation shutters throughout...the house also had a lot of other upgrades that the seller did - crown molding, granite countertops, bamboo flooring, upgraded sink hardware in kitchen and baths etc. and they actually had a list out on the table of every uprgrade they put in and how much it cost Chat Icon....i guess they were trying to justify their high list price or they wanted buyers to see the house as being high end...

i wouldn't bid more for window treatments but i do think that certain cosmetic things like window treatments, ceiling fans, door hardware, light fixtures etc. makes a difference in how a buyer perceives the house - whether good or bad....and impacts how much they like it - i think that the same space with upgrades and furnishing that are to the buyers liking could be very appealing to a buyer but if they saw the same space empty they might not like it all...i guess what i am saying is that some people don't have imagination Chat Icon
