Gossip Queen...any news on this? I think Britney was 3, Amy Winehouse 2 and poor SJP 1. I know she isn't a beauty queen...but the most unsexy woman in Hollywood? She's a great actress, a totally together mother and wife and a fashion icon. To me, that's very sexy!

Yeah, I don't agree with that either. Britney and Amy Winehouse are SO MUCH MORE unsexy than SJP. Just because she isn't a gorgeous 6' anorexic knockout model doesn't make her unsexy. Such chauvinists!

but Maxim is written for men, and they, in general, have a different definition of sexy.

my dh calls her a partial butterface (sometimes her face looks OK, but most times no) but he thinks she has a nice body (and I think she's too skinny). though he likes her, I am not sure he would catergorize her as "sexy"...

again though, I think these lists are bogus. there are lots more women that even JT couldn't bring the sexy to.

that has to be a mistake. she may be a buttaface but she has a kickazz body! and i agree with lana's statement about sexiness. you dont have to be a supermodel to be considered sexy! she's a great role model for women and i agree that thats very sexy!

I think from a man's point of view, this is dead on! She is total buttahface! I do find her very unattractive from the neck up--the whole big nose, tiny eyes and a wart on her chin...
I think she has an amazing body though, although DH claims her legs are way too skinny...

I think she is a good actress and a very classy woman but I don't think that qualifies as sexy, at least not in the way men approach this subject matter

I don't understand how she is more unsexy than Amy Winehouse but I think it's just because SJP is a bigger name then AW which is why she ended up higher on the list.

While I do think general idea of the list is a bit harsh, I thought the commentary was pretty funny.

I have no doubt my husband would have agreed with it. Whether women like it or not, this is how a lot of men think. At least they're honest and you know where they're coming from!

I'll be honest, I myself, don't necessarily disagree with it. SJP is pretty but I don't think very sexy at all.

Unsexy does not mean not pretty. There is a specific look that makes you sexy.

To me:
Sexy is Vanessa Minillo, Kim Kardashian, J Lo, etc

Unsexy is SJP, Calista Flockheart, Jennie Garth etc.

But I guess its al subjective

Well someone said it right: Men and women define sexy differently--and even women define it differently. My point is that it's just plain mean, and even though these celebs put themselves out there, it doesn't mean things don't hurt their feelings. I can't speak for SJP, but this would tear me up inside. It's just kinda low, written by immature editor geeks who probably don't know class from klass....
