The things people write on facebook...
People write the silliest things on facebook. Among all the political posts, I can usually find a good laugh.
I have a facebook friend who just posted about getting a "quarter zone" shot.
Anyone else have a slightly clueless facebook friend?
ETA: Some more funnies: Horrendous facebook misspellings!

OMG  That is AWESOME.
I see lots of awesome misspellings "I hope he doesn't brake my heart" on FB, and I recall recently someone referred to formaldehyde as "flamaldehyde"

It sort of goes along with the discussion about unprecedented rudeness...but I have noticed unprecedented ignorance too lately. People really don't know what they're saying--literally. And in my experience, the less people know, the more rude and oppressive they have been about what they're saying.

Someone posted her husband was so erotic and I was thinking to myself....hmmmmm tmi. So someone else commented exactly what I was thinking and she got all mad...and responded how he is erotic when it comes to the house, he has to have everything a certain way,
She meant "neurotic"

I thought the "quarter zone shot" was funny but this is hilarious! I can't believe she posted that her DH was "erotic." Some people should just not open their mouths, or type or text for that matter..

My husband has an FB friend that posted about getting a subbing spot in hopes that it will become a "permit" position and that she really needs a "permit" position (It's so much worse when they keep repeating the mistake because it shows it wasn't a one time thing--but more of a "permit" mistake !)

What comes to mind or me is a friend of ours who moved to Nebraska. He tries to be a big shot there and puts on a super strong NY accent. In fact, I do not actually know anyone from NY who talks quite like him. As if that wasn't bad enough, he types like he speaks, ie: "hangin wit da boyz." it drives me bonkers. He just sounds so ignorant. I would hate to think that he is representing NYers.
