Re: THE OFFICIAL NOVEMBER MOMMY'S THREAD

Wow- it's been awhile since I saw this thread, so I thought I'd bump.

I'll be 30 weeks tomorrow and I am SO glad the weather is finally starting to cool down. IF we are blessed with a 3rd, I will try my hardest to NEVER be PG through the summer again. This pg has been much more difficult than #1 with the swelling.

At my 29 week appointment my OB recommended I start seeing a chiropractor to help with my sciatica. It's been difficult being in pain and caring for a 14 month old, so I'm hopeful that seeing someone might help.

The baby moves constantly!! I've also started getting BH contractions quite freqently.

I can't believe I only have 10 weeks to go- this PG went SO fast. I've started freaking out at the prospect of 2 under 2, but I can't wait to meet her! BTW- we FINALLY agreed on a name. She will be Eliza Jean.

I'm sorry you're having pain. I'm in the same boat although we're not sure mine is sciatica or something worse. My pain doctor took me out of work. I am gald and guilty at the same time.

I LOVE the name you chose! Ummm with 12 weeks to go we haven't even started talking about names for our little guy Chat Icon but we did get the nursery painted and I ordered roman shades for his room. I can't wait to see things all put together.

He moves so much more than I remember DD moving. It's comforting to always feel him move. I didn't have BH with DD but I am having them fairly often with this baby too.

November still seems SO far away but I know it will be here before we know it.

YES! This baby moves SO much more than Madelyn did. Maddie was kind of a "roller" whereas this one is CONSTANTLY punching and kicking. I'm hoping it's because she has more room in there than Maddie did- I hate to think this one is going to be the opposite of the calm baby #1 was.Chat Icon

We haven't even THOUGHT about where #2 is going to be. We have 3 bedrooms upstairs, and I hate to use the guest room as another nursery as my parents visit us quite often. I'm thinking of putting another crib in Madelyn's room (unless she's in a toddler bed by then). In the beginning, Elize will be in our room in the cosleeper.

I haven't even thought about a double stroller yet either......

Re: THE OFFICIAL NOVEMBER MOMMY'S THREAD

Just wanted to see how the other November Mommies are doing.....

I have been busy with my ds starting preschool and running around, I can not believe I am already 29 weeks!
I went to the dr this week for a growth sono. She is big, 3lb4oz and my placenta has moved which is good, although since I am having a c-section it doesn't matter. It will be scheduled Thanksgiving week I think which I am not to thrilled with sitting in a hospital on Thanksgiving.
My mom had my sprinkle for me on Saturday. It was really beautiful and I got so many gifts for her, I really have some nice and generous friends.
Also, her furniture is here! It came early, so for the past few days I have been slowly putting all her stuff into her room. DH did venetian plaster on her walls and it looks realy nice. All I need is a lighting fixture for her room.

How is everyone else?

Re: THE OFFICIAL NOVEMBER MOMMY'S THREAD

Hi girls....hope all the November Mommies are doing well.

I am on week 6 of bed rest and am 33 weeks along! It's amazing how slow the days move, but how quickly the time is moving.

I have my next sono on Monday at which time we should have a better idea of when they will schedule a c-section in mid October or if I may even have the opportunity to go naturally.

Our furniture is being delivered on 10/1 and my MIL has started washing all the clothing. We just received our car seat, pack n play, and soothing center (swing) so we are on our way to being prepared for our little lady.

We are still on the fence with names, but she should have one in advance of her arrival.

How is everyone else?

Re: THE OFFICIAL NOVEMBER MOMMY'S THREAD

Hello ladies!!

I've been wondering about my other Nov. mommies. I'm 30 weeks and 1 day and getting VERY excited to meet this little guy. We were supposed to get his furniture delivered on Tuesday but they brought the wrong dresser so we just have a crib right now. It's gorgeous though! Co-sleeper is set up in our bedroom and it was surreal to wake up and see it that first morning. I should have another sono in about three weeks but the doctor has already said she thinks we have a "decent sized baby" in me! My shower is on the 4th and I'm excited to see all my friends and family. It's been a rough few weeks personally with two family members being diagnosed with cancer being given months to live so this baby is a very welcome joy!

Can't wait to hear from the rest of you all!!

Re: THE OFFICIAL NOVEMBER MOMMY'S THREAD

Hi girls!!!

So nice to hear from the November mommies. I'm 30 weeks and just got back this morning from the doctor and had a 3D sono done for the 1st time. DH and I are so in love with the pictures we saw on the monitor. I was in awe. The tech was such a sweetheart and gave me a million pictures. He's got a dimple in his chin and the cutest chubby cheeks. I was recently diagnosed with GD so I see the doctors every week now, Chat Icon is measuring 3lbs 10 ounces, so they say he's on the bigger side which we expected. I'm up 20 lbs. The nursery is all set with furniture and all, and now I'm excited for my shower which is in mid October. Other than that all is well and we are getting super excited counting down the weeks until he arrives.

Hope everyone else is feeling good and look forward to hearing from more of you! Chat Icon

Re: THE OFFICIAL NOVEMBER MOMMY'S THREAD

Hi ladies!
Almost 33 weeks and still haven't purchased another crib nor a double stroller. Think I'm in denial?Chat Icon

I've been super busy now that I'm back at work (elementary school speech therapist). My leave replacement came in to go over my caseload last week. I was like, "Chat Icon No- it's too soon!!!!" But- I'm realizing we have less than 8 weeks to go......it's going too fast.

Thankfully, my sciatica has let up, so I'm feeling MUCH better. Madelyn gives my belly kisses and says, "Beebee". Poor thing has no idea what she's in for.....

Great to hear everyone is doing well!!!!

Re: THE OFFICIAL NOVEMBER MOMMY'S THREAD

Hi girls! We are getting so close! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

I am also 31w2d today. I can't believe how fast the time is going by. Since we bought our house this summer we've been doing lots of projects and trying to get settled so that has really sped up the time. I'm freaking out that if this little Chat Icon comes early, I am screwed!!!!

We have his furniture at our house already, but we haven't started on the painting of the nursery yet. Chat Icon Having no experience with painting, DH wanted to "practice" on the dining room first before we did the nursery. Of course what we thought would take a few days has now been weeks cause other things have come up. Chat Icon Hopefully this week we will be getting started, as I feel I have done nothing to prepare ourselves for his arrival!

We started our birthing classes last week and next week on Tuesday I have a growth sono (32w). I am very anxious to see my little guy again, since I haven't since 18 weeks! I'm very curious to hear what his estimated weight is.

My shower is 10/4 and I'm looking forward to it! My MIL also had one Labor Day weekend for me which was nice.

I think about you girls all the time - let's keep in touch these last couple of months!!!! Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: THE OFFICIAL NOVEMBER MOMMY'S THREAD

Hey everyone so Im 33 weeks 6 days today I had a doc appt. and finally another sono my last sono was at 25 weeks.. So the cyst that has been giving me soo many problems went from 9 cm to 24 cm so now my doctor seems to care that it got soo big the sono tech asked me if Im in pain alot I said "Yes but I deal" she was stumped at how I dont complain about it.. Also my amniotic fluid is low so my c-section date of Nov 7th might be changing to earlier he wants to monitor it with a sono once a week..Thats pretty much all here for an update..I hope all is well with everyone else.. Its almost our month October will go so fast...Chat Icon

Re: THE OFFICIAL NOVEMBER MOMMY'S THREAD

Hi ladies! I'm 32w 4d...I'm on full bedrest (luckily still at home!) for the remainder of my pregnancy, which is going to be tough with a 17 month old, but I am happy to still be able to keep this baby inside! I have extremely low fluid which has dropped more...today I go to the doctor for another BPP to decide what is next for me...Totally not what I thought would happen in my wildest dreams! I am not ready at all for this baby! I thought that I still had 8 weeks! Hope everyone else is having a great last few weeks of their pregnancy!

Re: THE OFFICIAL NOVEMBER MOMMY'S THREAD

Hi girls! Our month is almost here! Chat Icon I'm 32 weeks 3 days today. Beginning this week my doctor wants to see me every week since I have gestational diabetes and they need to watch things a little more closely. Each visit now he said he will be doing a sono and then bio physicals. I have a feeling a c-section is in sight for me since they are telling me the baby is on the bigger side. A few weeks ago he was measuring almost 4lbs. I go for another growth sono next week. Chat Icon is definitely running out of room in there. My shower is this weekend so I'm excited to get everything we need. Other than that glad to hear updates from everyone and look forward to hearing from the other Nov. mommies. Feel good everyone!!!!Chat Icon

Re: THE OFFICIAL NOVEMBER MOMMY'S THREAD

Hello my beautiful November mommys! I'm 32 weeks 6 days today. I can't believe we're coming to the end. I was showered on Saturday and it was a wonderful time. It's so strange having all this baby stuff all over the house now! People were super generous and we only need to buy a few more things to finish the registery.

I go for my biophysical sonogram on the 30th. I'm really curious to see how big my Chat Icon is! He seems to still be moving around a lot so hopefully not TOO big!

It's almost show time ladies! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: THE OFFICIAL NOVEMBER MOMMY'S THREAD

Hi november mommies! I just came from my 34w appt and all is well. I had a growth sono at 32w and baby was measuring very large at 6lbs so I have another one on 10/23 and then doc wants to discuss my options. I guess we'll see what happens!

My shower was this weekend. People were so generous to my little guy and it was one of my favorite days ever! Now have to get everything organized which is stressing me a bit.

I hope that DH will finally start painting the nursery this week considering we might have an early arrival!

I can't believe how fast the time has been flying - I have loved being pregnant and I think I'm gonna be a bit sad for it to be done although I can't wait to meet my little man!!

Lots of love to all of you!
