Has anyone watched this show? It's hilarious. On Amazon Prime, season 1 8 episodes.
Totally worth watching.

I have 2 episodes left. It is so funny. I love it.
ETA- It is not even a little kid friendly so if you have little ones, make sure they're not in earshot.

I had never heard of it before this thread and based on the rave reviews here DH and I watched the first episode this weekend. It was really good. Looking forward to seeing more.
I just love the 1950s setting and culture too! Cracked me up how she goes to bed all pretty, waits for the husband to fall asleep and goes and puts the rollers in and the night cream on then wakes up before him so she can be all perfect again when he gets up!

The actress who played Susie was supposed to play Sookie in Gilmore Girls but had a conflict.
I believe I saw somewhere that there will be a second season. I hope so.

I read that Amazon had ordered two seasons back in March, so there definitely should be another season, probably next fall. I really enjoyed season one.

I tried watching it today. Watched 3 episodes and I couldn't take the accent and the over acting on everyones part. I turned it off

At first I wasn't interested in seeing this. But then I saw all of the positive reviews. So I binge watched 3-4 episodes last night! It was so good and funny!

Tony Shaloub is my favorite in this also.
As far as Alex goes, I miss her as Ms. Swan on MadTV. You notice she hasn't changed her pants once this season.

I can see that, but honestly I don't think of it as over acting. My grandfather, a Jew from the Bronx, sounded and behaved just like the fathers in this. Always so over dramatic with every little thing. LOL! My mother always says it's amazing she's normal (somewhat... LOL).
