The girls with GD--are you also doing the urine test for ketones?
I have to do this when I do my fasting number in the morning and when my number is normal I've noticed that I show ketones in my urine..not alot just a trace to a small amount. Anyone else?

no, i asked the Dr. why i am not doing it and he said that it is very old and does not belive it works...... sorry !!

trace to small amount is ok since you are avoiding heavy carbs and thats exactly what happens when you dont eat carbs.
I wouldnt worry at all unless it starts to show higher....Then call for sure.
