taking the good with the bad
i missed the NJ GTG today because... when i went to the mechanic for something simple, it turned into something complicated that lasted 5 hours and cost me $360.
the bad: missing the GTG, spending the money
the good: i've been pinching pennies and finding extra money wherever i can... which means that the repair only took $25 of my "regular" money and i was able to fix the car before it became something dangerous.
being a grown-up sucks, sometimes. but i'm grateful that i was able to take care of it.

We need to do a suffolk gtg, I would love to meet some more lif'ers one day, even if we did a Lunch one weekend..What do you all think?
