Taking a car service with kids
Can I take a car service from Queens to Brooklyn with both kiddies? Do I need to bring car seats with me? How does it work???
Anyone ever done it?

Yes, you can. Most places have car seats/booster seats for no add'l charge.
Just ask when you call for quotes...

I never use carseats in a taxi, limo, etc.
Any car for hire you do not need a carseat. But you can bring them or they may have some you can use from them.
