Doing one of our favs tonight and they answered almost right away, with only a 45 min lead time. Win!
Last week we did Cheesecake Factory curbside pick up...that was pretty easy....and delicious

Yes! It has been very hard to place orders. I'm super happy for these businesses but it's a PITA! And forget delivery! I'm going to pick up otherwise it's another hour!
Also, I drove past all the local fast food places one night this week. The drive thru lines for McD's, Taco Bell, Sonic and Wendy's were INSANE

i also think a lot of restaurant shut down, so there is less choices. the few restaurants that remain open are getting all the customers that would have ordered from somewhere else.

Oh yum, I hadn't thought of Cheesecake Factory! Adding that to my week!
And although they don't have ALL their cheesecake choices available for take out- they have a pretty extensive list.
I got a slice of the Celebration Cheesecake to share with my daughter... .it was delicious!

So yesterday I went to the local deli to get sandwiches to take on our drive out east. The deli worker took my order, punched it on his register with his gloves on. Then sneezed in his hand. Then continued to punch numbers in. Then went and made my sandwiches with the same gloves on. I felt bad saying anything, because he was so nice ( I know, stupid). I just threw our sandwiches out. But, I don't understand how he thought that was okay?! Because he was wearing gloves I guess? (which are so gross!). The other worker was doing the same. Ringing up, taking money and making sandwiches with the same gloves on. I know many delis do this on a normal day, but c'mon, we are in a pandemic! Then come to find out, the owner of the deli is in the hospital with COVID. I was beyond disgusted, and I won't go there ever again!

I've always seen them do that and it always made me shake my head.
I almost feel like gloves are making things worse.
People have a false sense of security when wearing gloves and then touch everything in site including their faces. It's gross.
But putting everything else aside - doing that in a deli is just beyond disgusting

You are better than me as I would have never paid for something and then just throw it away. I would have just politely asked if they change gloves to make the food.
Honestly though I doubt this is any different than it ever was so you would have eaten it then.
