Table with which Chairs? (pics & poll) UPDATED WITH NEW PIC

I've been looking for a table like this, but I'm just not sure which chairs to go with the table. This is for our Family Room. Which will be casual.

What does everyone think of this set up instead of the all white? This will be used as a Dining set in the Family Room. This will be color on the walls and color of the flooring.

Our kitchen table is similar and we have these style chairs:



Vertical back, because they're more comfortable than horizontal. We have colored cushions for the seat too, to make it more comfortable.

I like #5 the best... I like them all really except #2 and #3.

i chose #2 b/c they look most comfy. i am opting for comfy first b/c it is a family room.

I like #4! They look similiar to the chairs on the design board in your pictures. They seem the most beachy, earthy, casual to me.

I chose #4....2 & 3 seem a little bit more "fancier" to me.

I picked 4....just a note, if this is for a room thats gonna get a lot of action, i would stay away from any white material, it would drive me nutty keeping it clean. I also really like the wicker chairs, because it gives the room texture and it def pops., but would match it with a different table.

I'm all about comfort when it comes to the living room. Only #2 and #3 look comfy. wicker is rough and lumpy, and the other chairs are hard.

Hopefully, those covers are removable and washable?

Also, IMO, the table (especially with any of the chair options above) looks like a kitchen table... the height is too high. Would you consider a table that is more coffee-table or side-table height?

hi Jenn! I voted before but then had to run, I chose #4 because it has that 'beachy feel" --- I think if you put a chair pad on it, it will be plenty comfortable.

Thanks everyone! Great responses. This will be for our Family Room, which will have two different areas in it. One side of the room will be for the couch and TV and the other side of the room will be for dining. I should have written that in my original post. oops! And the chairs that are all wood, I would buy cushions for those. I will be getting four chairs to go around the table and the table expands to seat 6. I guess now I will have to see which one my DH likes the most.

I still like #4, with wicker or blue-ish chair pads. Sorry :( I think for dining or card playing it is perfect. I think the wicker/wood table is too much wood/beige in the room.

i like #4 as well but would love to see a distressed table and chairs.

I think the number six picture might blend in too much with the walls. I suppose you could dress it up with more color though, if you want.

I'm not a big fan of wicker or any weaved stuff so I'm afraid I won't be much help there.
