Suggestions for 21st b-day bar/restaurant in city?
My little brother is 21 today, April 21st. 
He's in town visiting us so we want to take him out for a memorable dinner and first legal cocktail somewhere in the city. I have a short list of standbys but I'm always looking to try someplace new. Any suggestions?

Rosa Mexicana is a good atmosphere and good food, Italian you can do family style Tony's D Napoli on 82nd and 2nd its good for a big group

Definitely Rosa or Dos - both have several locations throughout the city, so you can pick which neighborhood you'd like to be in.
ETA: There's also a tiny (but good) Mexican place in the East Village called Mercadito.
