such bad anxiety
with this damn hurricane. im sitting here crying bc im soo over whlemed and scared. DH is away intill next week. its just me and the dog in out basement apartmeant that happened to flood 2 weeks ago. i dont need this. and to top it off the apartment is in his grandparents house and his grandpa is in italy. just me and grandma.
i really hope its not bad. thanks for listening i just need someone to talk to.

try to relax and do what you can to prevent it from flooding again.. maybe theres something you can do to the windows to make sure no water gets in? good luck, i hope everything turns out fine.

thanks everyone! last time the water was coming up from the floor! and i wanna stay here so if it does start to flood i can start pumping it out so i dont come home to inches of water here!

I swear, things like this always happen at the worst time.
 it shifts or weakens before it comes your way!

I find preparing of things eases my anxiety.
-If you don't have rubber boots, that's probably a good thing to get
-Rubbermaid bins- put valuables in there to prevent water damage
- Have a dehumidifier for after

I would start to get prepared now... and feeling more prepared def. eases the anxiety. You both will be OK.
Just get things off the basement floor, put things in waterproof bins, and do everything you can to make sure to limit the damage that could be done down there.
hope nothing happens though!!

As the other ladies have said, do what is in your power to prepare. Make sure Grandma is ok too- she may be very anxious as well. You'll be ok!
