Stupid question about time zones
When it's 11am in New York, what time is it in Arizona?

That's what I thought I found when I looked online, but my husband seemed to think it was 3 hours....

That's what I thought I found when I looked online, but my husband seemed to think it was 3 hours....
I know Nevada is 3 hour and so is california. But nevada and Arizona are 1 hour different. I remember driving across the border and seeing the clocks on each side of hoover dam 1 hour different.

Hmm, I do know that some parts of the US do not following daylight savings time. So who knows!

Arizona is in the Mountain Time Zone
Most of Arizona does not use Daylight Saving Time

I was curious because my uncle from Arizona left me a message yesterday morning wishing me a happy birthday, but he called me by my husband's name.
I thought it was a little early for him to be drinking at 11:30am....and then I remembered the time difference.
So really, it's even worse!

I think part of the year they are 2 hours behind and part of the year, they are 3 hours behind.

This is correct. My friend lives out there. They don't do daylights savings...
