Stem Cell Research....
what is your view on it??
I am for it, but Im hearing a lot of stuff on Adult Stem cells, does that do the same?

I am very for it.
I was annoyed about the line of questioning at the Obama conference the other day.
first of all, it's no one's business what his "personal moral battle" was...
second of all, the argument that more strides have been made with adult stem cells seems stupid (at least on the surface to me)...
they should be ahead, considering the Bush Admin's policy on stem cell research! 
but onward and upward. let's see where this takes us!!

I can honestly say I don't know how I feel about it.
I have to do more research and form an opinion.
When it was first talked about I felt horrified b/c I wasn't sure of the facts. But I told my DH that should anything ever happen to him or anyone I loved that could be fixed or helped with stem cells I'd prob feel differently...I am just not sure yet!

As a diabetic, I am really pro stem cell research. It was actually such a big issue to me in the last election, that if McCain opposed federal funding for stem cell research, I would have seriously thought twice about voting for him. Stem cells can potentially cure/prevent certain diseases.

Agreed.
Though I do think the use should be restricted to disease research and not allow just ANYTHING to be done.
