Starting my First IUI Cycle!
I'm so nervous! I hope it works....
I start Letrozole tonight for 5 nights and 4 Follistim shots every other night. I go back a week from today for a sono.
I am awesome with needles, but feel strange about giving myself a shot....It's not bad, is it?
OH - I use the CBEFM, should I also buy OPKs as a backup? They never even mentioned that to me and I forgot to ask!

I use OPKs exclusively. I think they are easier and more accurate.
I use the CBE ones. They have the smiley face.

I use OPK's and stopped using the CBEFM. The OPK's were cheaper.

Good point - I would have to buy a new box of testing sticks for like $50....I think I'll just buy the OPKs this time.. Glad I asked!

when going to the RE i have never used OPKs since they are monitoring all that for me with the blood work and sonograms

True, but in the event that you O on your own before the trigger, I would want to know so that if I had to, I could call the dr. and let him know.

I still use my CBEFM. I never had much luck with OPKs. I buy them online for $30 and that is 3 months worth so it's only $10 per month. If you've already invested in it I would use it!

Whoops sorry 32. I buy them online from amazon. I did run out of them once and bought a box from Walgreens and it was $50. I ordered from amazon anyway and then returned that box to Walgreens with the receipt.
