how old was DC when you started the stage 2's?

We only used Stage 1 for a short time. I would say she was about 6 months by the time we got to Stage 2's. They are almost the same thing, just a bigger size jar and more selections of food.

DD was about 7 months old. We only started solids at 5.5 months though.

same here. except we started food at 6 months. We went to stage 2 pretty quickly.

We never really used Stage 1's - I had big eaters and they could eat a stage 2 in 2 feedings, so we pretty much started with them right away at about 5-6 months old when we started solids.

I plan on giving my 5 1/2 month old stage 2 next week...I wanted to sample DD with all the stage 1's first...she has the peas and string beans left to try.

6 1/2 months, we started with first at 6 months and she wasnt full so we went right into 2nds.

When we started meats - I couldn't bring myself to give her the stage 1 meats where it is just meat, so I gave her the stage 2's where it is mixed.
