We have an 850 sq ft co-op right now and I am also not looking forward to cleaning 3705 sq ft.Chat Icon

that's why I am taking a step in between

apartment now- 850 sq ft
new apartment- 1500 sq ft (2 bathrooms- double cleaning)

then I would like our house to be at least 2500 sq ft is we stay in NY

and much bigger if we move (but I doubt we are moving)

We will certainly have a few rooms that are cleaned twice a year Chat Icon

Re: Square footage of your home?

2200 sq feet....I don't know what the basement has - slightly less, I am guessing. My lot is 50 x 150 - I wish it was wider.

Re: Square footage of your home?

Wow! I see the difference from living here in NoWhere, South Carolina! :)

The house we're in contract for is 1377 square feet and I gotta tell you, people here look at me and think I'm nuts buying such a "big" home.

Re: Square footage of your home?

I moved out of a 1200 sq foot home, and into a 2200 sq foot home. I htink its just the right size for us..BUT, I wish the layout was different, i just wish the spare bedrooms were bigger, and less living rooms. But for us its a good, manageable size.

1290 plus a full basement and a full walk-up attic. Neither of those are counted in the square footage count.

If I had to guess, I'd say it's about 2300 total

here too. i would like more, but i don't want to clean what i have...LOL
