Spring 07' mommy's...winter clothes?

It sounds crazy but I want to take advantage of some of the sales I am seeing. DS#2 is due in September and than after that I will be planning his christening and than the holidays will be after that and I know it is going to be too hectic for me to go shopping for a full wardrobe.

DS will be 3 in April. Right now 2T fits him perfectly (with the adjustable waist shorts). I am thinking 3T tops but I am unsure of pants b/c he is so thin.

I've bought shirts for DS but not pants.

He's so skinny he is still in the shorts he wore last summer, 18 months... 2 T are large on him.

DD had chunky legs so she was in 2T pants at 16 months. Now she has slimmed down and is still in them at 28 months.

I'd wait on pants. If we have a warm Sept he might be in shorts until the fall sales start.

i would get 3t and 4t, because he might have a growth spurt, my DS went from 2t to 4t in a very short period of time. he hardly used his 3t stuff. it's hard to tell at this age bc you never know what they're going to be. look on TCP website. they have stuff for 2 and 3 bucks!!

DS will be 2 August 1st. Right now he is in 3T tops but 24 month/2T shorts. Last time there were huge after season sales I got him 2T pants and a jacket for the holidays in 3T I think/hope it will fit him. So I am not sure what I would do, b/c I am not sure if my planning ahead really worked. KWIM?

DS is in 3T (it's a bit big though) now because 2T is a bit too tight so 3T will be perfect for the Winter. I got DS 3T on sale too. He is all set for this winter.

I am going to get DS 2T pants and maybe a few 3T but I doubt it because he is pretty skinny and still fits in 18-24 mth shorts. All his 2T shorts are a little big and have to be rolled up.
For shirts, I am going 3T. It is OK for shirts to be a little big and then hopefully I'll get the whole winter out of them!
