Spinoff to the online journal thread -- Ralphie and A Christmas Story
Does anyone else think that this is one of the funniest movies ever?
If so...favorite scenes?? Mine are:
When the mother can't find Randy and he's in the cupboard under the sink and the mom opens the door and asks why he's under there and he says "daddy's gonna kill ralphie" and she asks if he wants some milk and he says yes and she gives it to him under there.
Second one is when Randy and mom are at the dinner table and she's trying to get Randy to eat and he starts eating it with his mouth off the plate like a pig and she says "aww, mommy's little piggy!"

Meatloaf, beatloaf, I hate meatloaf.
I still say that to this day whenever I hear someone say meatloaf. I kinda like it now that I'm older, but I still say it.

yeah... its one of our favoritest movies EVERRRRRRRR.
i love all of them telling him he'll shoot his eye out... capped off by "omg.. i shot MY eye out" 
the pink bunny...
fragile.... its italian.

Oh the best is when Ralphie says Scwartz taught him the bad word and you hear Scwartz's mom go ballistic on the phone!
And when he goes to see Santa and stands in line behind that super nerdy kid
Heck the whole movie is great!

I like the part when Randy is all bundled up and he falls in the snow and he's like "helllp I can't get up!!" and he's rolling around.
And the "meat loaf meat loaf I hate meat loaf". I hate meat loaf too!!!!!!

We watch this movie over & over on Christmas on the TNT marathon!!
I love when Ralphie & Randy are laying in the fake snow after going down the Santa Slide. They look so disappointed.

I love this part too! When he tells the mother that she used up all the glue on purpose!! I love this movie!

My Dh and I constantly "triple dog dare" each other.
I also took a college course with a good friend of mine and we were in constant competition to get and "A+ + + + + + + +........

OMG, me too!!! DH laughs his tookis off!!!
My 4 1/2 year old niece heard me doing the "who's mommy's piggy" bit, and now she walks around saying it and snorting!!! She is so cute!!!

Hands down- best line-

Followed closely by the whole Fa Ra Ra Ra Ra scene!

Love it!!!
I have to watch it at least once during the 24 hour marathon every year!
For my neice's first christmas, we gave my brother the DVD and wrapped it along with a pink bunny outfit for the baby - it was the cutest!!!! (obviously, my brother is a huge fan too!)
