Spinoff to question about carseat mirrors. If you drive an SUV, what do you do with your stroller?
Obviously, we stash our stroller in the back of our SUV. In an accident, the stroller would be tossed around and I think it could hit the baby. Should I be strapping it down? Should I find some other way to secure it (besides strapping)? DH thought maybe we could get some bungee cords. Lately, we bring 2 strollers, the Snap N go and our "real" stroller. Do you keep anything else in the back of your SUV? It seems like objects from the back could really hurt a baby. Do you think about this or am I being too morbid? I just don't know what I am supposed to do.

We just put it in the back. No straps, nothing fancy. I am not concerned.

The headrests of the back seat are "high" so the stroller cannot really go back into the carseat. I think!
But interesting thought. I will check tomorrow.

never thought about it, but the two strollers that we use are bulky enough that they could never get out of the back...

When we had our carseat inspected the guy told us to strap down the stroller. He said not to use bungees because they will snap. He said their are straps made of seatbelt material.

Same here. Not enough space for the stroller to come out and into the back seat... I hope...

I have a cargo cover over the back, so I would expect that to keep the stroller in the trunk.

I use the cargo cover too, and like others said I don't think it woulf fit over the headrests

Re: Spinoff to question about carseat mirrors. If you drive an SUV, what do you do with your stroller?
I have both my snap and go and my stroller in the back of my SUV. I never thought anything of it but my mom was just recently in my car and said that it's not safe for that same reason. I'm going to keep them there because really where else can they go?
