Ciao Baby in Westbury/Garden City or wherever it is.
The food was great, but we suspect that one of the people that work there used my Mom's credit card number to order a bunch of stuff from Best Buy. The reason that we suspect that place is because my Mom NEVER uses that particular credit card.

Ruby Tuesdays (I use to love the place but had a bad experience there).
I HATE Applebees..you could not pay me to every go there again.
Bryant and Cooper...not for the food but the atmosphere there. The tables are too close together and the patrons (at least the night we were there) were a bunch of stuck up snobs. For the money we will never step foot in that place again.

Definitely Applebee's. Sometimes I get a craving for something on their menu and foolishly enough I'll go and order what I've been craving and I'm always disappointed and SICK afterwards.
Also, Boulder Creek... FH got such bad food poisening from there, he had to leave work early but was so sick he couldn't drive so my mom had to go pick him up and he was sick for 3 days.

Mama Lombardi's in Holbrook. I find it to be pretentious and overpriced. I've lived in Holbrook for 29 years and I remember when they opened their first pizzeria/restaurant. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was genuine and cordial. Now, while the quality of the food hasn't changed, the atmosphere, certainly, has. I went there once and noticed that as people came in they took into account what you were wearing as to where you would be seated. If you were dressed to their standards, you were seated in the main dining room. I paid $20.00 for a plate of bow-tie pasta in sauce. IMO, definitely, overpriced.
Ever since the Lombardi kids took over the business, it hasn't been the same. I, honestly, don't see what all the fuss is about concerning this place.

I think Mama's has much better food and service than Mama Lombardis has....all they want is your $$$ now!! 
wow, I guess everyone has different experiences. DH and I went to Mama's recently and were not at all impressed with the food and the service was horrible!

I never ate here but I would have to say Grand Buffet in Baldwin on Grand Ave. I had a call there and the employee told me that he called an police ambulance because he wanted us to see the conditions. he said that they where taking the food that people did not eat from there plates and putting it back out on the buffet. . especially the expensive food like the crab legs. They would take ones that people ate and re stuff them.

Whenever I have gone there (usually because my inlaws love it there, i don't choose to go) I have hated my food. And it seems like it all tastes the same.
Fridays has gone down hill too. Last time i went there the food was horrible. The servings were tiny, and it was just not good.
And now that I live in VA, good pizza can be hard to find. My friends and coworkers here love places like Dominos, Papa Johns and other crappy pizza places. I always tell them "That is NOT pizza!!!!"

Applebees is pretty bad but I would have to go with Macaroni Grill and Olive Garden. Chain restaurant and Italian just don't go together.

Well said! Or any place that thinks pasta with almost raw vegetables in too much oil and/or garlic to try to disguise the mess that they call food on your plate!
