I do... we each maintain our own accounts and pay the bills we are responsible from our individual account. It seems to work for us.

We do. One for my business.
However DH and I each have an account with both of our names on it. One where he is the primary, one where I am. He pays bills out of his account and mine is for spending $$, food shopping, gas, etc. This is what works for us. IMHO it is easier than always asking if he wrote a check I don't know about or something.

I have an old account I never closed (but it only has about $24 in it). Giving up my checking account for a joint one was a big deal for me.

Me! We have a connected BofA account but its seperate. I also have my own saving account at my credit union for my summer pay and extras.

Most of our $ are in join, but we each still have a separate checking account.
.. the first few months after we join our $ together was the hardest!

I have my own financial accounts, CDs and checking accounts. Then I have checking for my business.
He has his own savings and checking accounts (which are used to pay the bills).
We have one joint account that we basically use just for savings.
We have our own credit cards and pay them ourselves.
My ex and I had only 1 account we shared and when we divorced I wished I had had my own account -- although I did have a little invested on my own.

I do. I work two jobs, and I save all the money from my second job in that account. However, JT knows the online password if he even needs to get into it for anything. It's at the same bank as our joint account, so he could always transfer money from my account to our joint account if there was some reason why he needed to.

i do, but it is for business stuff, just to keep stuff straight and replenish inks and paper - but if/when  i have extra money in there, we might use it for something together...
