really? do you like? I heard xm is IONS ahead of Sirius, if I didn't like Howard and was just looking for satellite I'd totally go for XM before Sirius

Actually its the other way around. Equipment wise and programming wise Sirius is ahead of XM. But to put it to rest I think in a year or two the two companies will combine.

The music on XM is much better than Sirius IMO. I primarially listen to the dance stations and the older classic stations (like the 80s stations) and I find Sirius is simply a clone of FM Radio without the commercials.... way too repetitive for my taste.
I also think XM radio is in much better financial shape than Sirius and will outlast them in the long run. Sirius paid Stern a boatload and I think thats going to come back to haunt them.
But thats just my opinion. I am not into Howard... and I would much rather have the MLB on radio instead of the NFL.

Im sorry to say that if you are paying $300 for sirrius radio you are getting ripped off. It should be no more than $150 bucks. I would shop around if I was you.

I am thinking about one or the other. I spend a minimum of two hours in my car commuting and the radio stations are not doing it for me and I am getting tired of CDs too.

When I am "allowed" to listen in my car, I am lovin' it too
Howard or not, I still really love NO COMMERCIALS and listening to any type of genre of music I choose .. and NON REPETITIVE music

yeah, i must say that the repetition is not bad on sirius
i keep the online stream on at work and i rarely hear the same song twice and when i do, it's usually after a really long stretch

I bought the 300.00 one, but returned it. I can't listen to howard live on the bus in the morning. I don't have a work atmosphere where I could listen either. SO I am howard free until something truely wireless and live comes out. On the 300.00 one, you can only listen to recorded material. bummer.
