Spent the night in Labor & Delivery in Pre Term Labor!!

LIMOMx2 ... Member since 5/05 24989 total posts Name:	Spent the night in Labor & Delivery in Pre Term Labor!! I am soo worried. Now I am on semi bed rest. I ended up going to the Hospital because the shoulder pain I am having is beyond bearable. And I haven't slept in days. But it turns out I was having constant contractions and was dehydrated too. They gave me 3 bags of fluid and 2 shots to stop the contractions. Thank goodness they did stop and I am not dilated. I am so nervous that this baby is going to come early. Please pray that she cooks a little longer Thank you

Luckily mine stopped with the fluids and I am not on rest, but they are checking my fFn & doing the NST & BPP every week (well every other week for the fFn). Try to rest and take things slowly.

I can't believe you were having contractions and didn't know it. OMG - I didn't even know that was possible. Another thing to worry about.

Am I mistaken in thinking that you are full-term? Isn't full-term 36 weeks? 37 weeks is full term. And they can be a little concerned about baby's size, lung maturity, etc, even at full term.
