so we've covered DH's and video games -- but is anyone's DH...
obsessed with ESPN? i swear on my life he wakes up and reaches for the remote and puts it on...like he's gonna miss something! then he has it on all day long, he may not even be watching but just as long as he has it on in the background he's happy.
his theory...ESPN is considered "current events" and we should be as up to date as possilble.

it's on a lot at our place starting now through January for football. that's about it though, thank the LORD!

I am the only one who watches ESPN in this house. I hate that half the shows are standard definition on an HD channel, but I watch it anyways.

We'll have just finished watching a 3-4 hour baseball game and have to flip to SportCenter to catch the highlights. I'm like "why do we need to catch the highlights when we just watched the whole d a m n thing?"

OMG YES!!!
If you turn on any TV in our house it will ALWAYS be on ESPN.
Last night I came out from the bedroom to sit with DH in the living room but didn't turn off the T.V.
He got up and I asked him to turn it off.
Well later that night when I went in to go to bed (DH had left for work) it was on ESPN.
He was in there 2 minutes 
Between that and 880 or 660 on FM I officially HATE sports now!

Thank goodness I'm not the only one! ESPN on at all times even if he will be in the room 2 minutes...He'll watch the same reel over and over again! He says the information at the bottom may change - sports on radio every time we're in the car
If these guys would play sports as much as they watch it on tv, we'd have some very good looking men!!

ESPN is on ALL THE TIME in my house. If I turn the TV after DH has been watching it, ESPN is the last channel that was on.

FH can't fall asleep without putting on Sportscenter
and I NEVER fall asleep when I am not home so that means I get to listen to the SAME thing over and over again!!!

1 cable box is set to turn on to ESPN and the other is set to YES. The only time ESPN isn't on is when the yankees are playing. I dont really mind though- i'd much rather watch ESPN than the news- much less depressing (except for when they talk about their salaries  )

LOVE PTI!!! But yes... DH ALWAYS has EVERY TV on ESPN. He DVR's PTI and Sports Center. I don't understand it. Sports Center is on like EVERY HOUR... It makes no sense that he records it.
