So upset...the job I was up for has been put on hold
After I got through all those edit tests....the publisher just told me that due to their budget (I guess I was too expensive?) they have put the hiring of an editor on hold but when and if they revisit it, I am the person they would consider again. Ugh........I thought I was out of here.  And I resent doing all that work and getting excited, for NOTHING.

I think I'd feel better if I just hadn't gotten it....this just angers me....I did so much work, took a day off from work to go there. Grrrr......

That stinks Lana! I remember when my brother was going for book editing jobs they would make him edit entire books as tests and then never hire anyone!
