So upset, SAH job hired someone else...
I am so upset. He was a little upset that I wanted to take 1 month after the baby was born but I never knew he was that upset. I would have started right away then.
He hired someone else. What makes it worse is that it is DH's uncle 
Now I have to get a "real" job and I am so depressed. I also have to get one soon. Money is running very low. Dh want's me to go back tomorrow if I could. he just doesn't understand. I know money is tight but I would like to wait until at least he is 2 months old.
How am I going to leave him this early? I am so depressed
Did anyone else go back very soon?

i am sorry you have to go through this. I will have to be leaving my baby after 2 months also because that is all the maternity leave i have.

I had to go back to work when Caiden was only 6 weeks old. I didn't get paid any for my maternity leave and we don't make good money so we had no choice. It was hard, but I made it easier for me for going with a daycare center that was literally walking distance to my job, so for the first 11 months I saw him at lunch everyday to nurse him. It really helped. You can try to do something like that? It was easier to find because I already had the job so I went around that somewhat. I know it's hard finding a place anyway. Our's ended up being last minute daycare. So I only had 2 weeks to find something, but luckily we found an awesome place that he still goes too now and he's almost 2.5 yrs old. Your husband's own uncle screwed you like this? I am sorry but that man would be cut out of my life for good. Can't you call him and ask why he did this and that you would start right away if he had just spoken to you? I seriously would just cut him out of the address book and never speak to him again.
Asking for 4 weeks of maternity leave is NOT a bad thing!! You are healing!
I am so sorry that happened. What happened at your old job? You should start to look for a daycare so that when you do get a job you will not have to just take the daycare that you find. Good Luck on your job search. I am so sorry that you were treated so badly, and by family no less.

Can't DH speak to his uncle? That's so crappy for him to do. Did he atleast give you the change to come back before he hired someone?
