So upset, can't stop crying, I hate hormones....and mad @ my DH! (Sorry-long vent)

So today was the NYPD vs FDNY hockey game at Nassau coliseum. DH goes with his buddies every year and tailgate outside in the parking lot. This was the first year I didn't go. Mostly didnt' go b/c I can't drink and I'm just getting over a cold and didn't need to be standing outside all day/night.

Soo, he left the house at 11:30 am (while I was still at work) and the only contact we've had is me texting him "I'm home", "Watching Jerry McGuire" "Should I plan on eating dinner alone?" He did respond, but has not called me once. And he's NOW at the Wantagh Inn! Did he even THINK to call me enroute?!?! Not even to say Hi or How are you feeling?!?! W-T-F?!?!

He cannot drink alot (and is not a big drinker) so I am not worried about that, but I am upset b/c the ONLY time we get to see each other is Satrudays from like 1-5, Sunday (all day, provided he's not working OT) and Monday evenings after I get home from work.

I told him I didn't mind him going, but COME ON! I am so upset b/c what was I asked to do today--clean! F*ck that, I'm boycotting!

I also feel like any time we DO have together lately has been doing things for others or getting stuff ready in the baby's room....no resentment there, but I can't even put stuff away from my shower b/c He's not done yet building stuff!!!!

UGH!!! I am just so upset!!!! Thanks for "listening"!!



ETA: Just sent me a text that he may be driving his buddy home to Shirley. We live in Queens, shoot, he'll NEVER get home at that rate!!

I know exactly how you feel. Last week my DH marched in the parade with the FDNY EMS and then went out. I would have loved to go, but being 34 weeks preggo and it having snowed, of course I couldn't go.

I don't think men realize how lonely pregnancy can be, physically and emotionally we cannot do what we used to do and it is hard b/c we want to be social and it is just simply exhausting.

Try to relax, he isn't trying to be a PITA, they just are

grrrr. mine was at the same game. is it a full moon?? that is well said - pregnancy is lonely in alot of ways

I told DH (months ago) after i have the baby, lose weight and feel good I will be going out w/ some of my girlfriends to a club. He said
"If you come home drunk, the locks will be changed" Whatever!

Mine was supposed to meet with friends for dinner [he's at death's door as he has been for 2 weeks now] and come home. He TEXTED me "don't wait up we're headed out afterwards" Mind you this is after he left the house at 5:30 to meet for dinner and they didn't get a table until about 15 minutes ago [b/c he texted met that at 8pm they had a 1 hour wait].... where the f*** have you been?

It's complete BS. If I try to go out at all, I get the 3rd degree AND guilt tripped if I'm out "late." Meanwhile, anything I do cannot result in a DUI...I'm right there with you.
