Read the ingredients for any cheese you want to have . . . if it says pasturized milk as an ingredient you can eat it, if it says cultured milk as an ingredient avoid it.

My only concern is what if it's from a deli, usually the packages don't read "pasturized" but I'm assuming if it's a reliable local deli it should be okay.

you're technical;ly not supposed ot have anything sliced by a deli meat slicer- but ladies will say moderation is key.

This is right - b/c of Listeria. If they slice meat and then don't clean it well (which they usually don't, they just wipe it with a rag) then it can pass to the cheese. But, a little probably won't hurt.
