sorry im full of questions today - ? about offers...
ok FH and I are going to look at a house tomorrow - its been on the market for at least 6 mos, and needs alot of work. It was only purchased last year for $300M (looks like they were renting it out)...its in TLC condition, so we know its going to be gross.
FH called the agent, and he said he would show it to us, but he was negotiating a sale already.
can agents just say these things to get us to bid, or are they not allowed to fabricate such things??

thanks! I personally think the guy is full of poopie. The house has been on the market forever and the list price is the same as completely renovated houses in the same neighborhood - so there is no way he's getting that from me!

but definitely the lowest priced house in the area, by far.

LOL - I read $300M as 300 million...I assumed you meant $300K
sorry, I work in finance and we use M meaning three 0s....we dont say $300K we say $300M but its the same thing!
