Special effects are great.....
Overall movie is BAD....very bad ending and usually that is what makes or breaks a movie for me.

DH wants to see it too, thought I am hoping he either changes his mind or agrees to go without me. I hate disaster movies of any kind, even though I know it's made up.

Ugh...I wanted to see it, but I can't stand bad endings. I'll wait for it to come out on DVD.

I am not easily scared but I could see a few moments were people could be frightened.
I think it's a mixture of both movies, but I liked Signs better.

I heard that the ending was stupid and that the movies was Tom Cruise running around all over the place....
Which blows sincei was looking forward to the movie!

Saw it on Friday. I thought it was okay - good action thriller, but mostly predictable and not all that original. There was this part where these alien probers (basically electronic eyes on the end of these long, flexible wire tube things) and it was so like the Matrix when Keanu is trying to hide from the spider sensors.

I saw it last nite and I really, really liked it. And I am not a Tom Cruise fan. I think it followed the book really well, as opposed to most movies these days! Some parts were a little lame, but overall the movie was good.

So we went to see it.
We didn't think it was that bad but then again we were going with very low expectations since having read all the bad reviews..
But i agree....Ending was sooo stupid and unrealistic.
But i do like the concept. ....

We liked it. DH was very tense throughout. I mean, we knew the kind of ending it would have considering that...and here's the spoiler so don't read further...
Tom can't die in his movies. Well, except for Collateral, but anyway, it had a very Hollywood ending. I was creeped out by Tim Robbins' character. But overall, I liked the whole premise that amoebas, the very things that start life, kept humans alive. Good circle.
