So... it looks like I'm getting a new car...

I got into a accident last, and my Corolla may be totaled :(

I'm fine, the other woman's fine, as is her truck, but now we're looking at a new car for me if I do end up needing one...

I was thinking of an Accord, but am open to all cars that are similar size/price to a low level Accord.

Any suggestions?

I miss my car :( And my keyless ignition.

My best friend got an 07 Altima. It has the pushbutton start. No need for keys on that one either. He got pretty much al the options and it was relatively cheap. I would suggest it. It has the CVT transmission and it's a 4 cylinder which means awesome gas mileage.

So sorry to hear about your accident. Glad you are ok!

I have no rec for cars though, it's been a while since I've been in the market.

The newly redesigned 2008 Accords are nice.

I'm partial to Hondas, too (we own 2 of them), and I love the Accord -- though we have a Civic and CR-V.

I also like the Nissan Altima. A friend of mine has had hers for about 3 years and loves it.

I would probably buy the Accord over the Nissan, though, JMHO. I've had my Civic for 5 years, 110,000 miles, and it's still running great. It's really only needed routine maintenance.

If you get the nav package it has the reverse camera. Definately worth it.

Nissan makes good cars. My father still has his 1989 Nissan Sentra with over 200k miles, and its still running.

I know - my parents have had several. I wasn't saying they're bad cars, just saying I'd buy the Accord over the Altima personally.
