getting a second or third car seat?

When getting a second car seat (for grandma/child care to use) Did you get both exactly the same type/Brand? Where do you find ones that are cheaper cause the fabric is being discontinued?

We have a Britax Marathon for my car but bought an Evenflo Triumph for my FIL's car since it is cheaper and she won't be in that seat as much.

The evenflo also got good reviews on babybargains...

I think it was about $129 and we used a BBB coupon for 20% off (yes, BRU accepted it!) so it was a good deal for our 2nd seat!

I got one that was way cheaper because DH almost never drives her in his car. We got a graco comfort sport on sale at Target for $74 which is the other end of the spectrum to what I have in my car which is the Britax Boulevard. While safety wise they're both the same I will say we both hate the comfort sport compared to the Boulevard but will use it so infrequently that we'll just deal with it.

Got the ComfortSport for DH & Grandma for $69 at BRU last week with coupon. I have the Britax Boulevard for my truck..

Both Grandmas bought their own seats and they both went with Evenflos. Not really necessary to get an expensive Britax when they rarely use their seats.

GO onto Bestbuybaby.com free shipping and no tax discontinued patterns of the Marathon and Decathalon which are the same seat but the Decathalon has an extra cushion that you would only need if you were using it for a small child. Then I went to babiesrus and got the comfort sport for DH truck. 99$ the saleswomen recommended it.
