So I went to the doctor's last night...
And there was this one woman there who was arguing with her because she wouldn't prescribe birth control pills to her. This woman hasn't been a patient in like over 6 year. Do you think she should have gotten a prescription? I could understand if she was a brand new patient.
Don't they sell birth control pills over the counter?

I think as a doctor, I would want the woman to be a current patient of mine (not one I haven't seen in 6 years, KWIM). So I could definitely see the doc not just wanting to give her a RX. There are side effects from BC pills and I am sure the doc isn't taking it lightly.
And no, you can't get BC pills OTC. Can you imagine??

Yeah I figured that's why she was saying no to her. You can't walk into a Dr.'s office to get a prescription when you haven't even been in for a visit in over 6 years.
