Side effect of estrogen patches maybe?

I had the worst cramping last night, followed by some stomach issues. I was in the car, taking my mom to the store and actually had to turn around and head home because I knew there was no shot of my making it 20 mins to get to where we had to go. All of the sudden the cramping got worse and worse and I broke out in a cold sweat and felt dizzy and nauseous all at once. It was awful... I rushed home and didn't leave my house for a good 25/30 mins.
I can't figure out what it was from. I didn't eat anything that should've upset my stomach, and I hadn't taken any pills that would've had that effect either.
I took her to the store and it happened again, but on a much less severe scale than the first time. Then when I got home last night, it happened a 3rd time, worse than the 2nd but still not as bad as the first.
I have a headache and can't sleep (hence the 4:30am post ) but other than that I'm not feeling anything out of the norm...just the normal side effects from the progesterone. At first I thought the cramping was from them, until it got much worse and all the other things started. Anyone have anything like this happen? Just trying to figure out where it came from.... sorry- this got long. TIA!

I agree with Lisa. I have the worst digestive tract on the planet and the patches didn't do anything to me.

Now stress...that does it to me everytime.

I have to tell you, this is always my first pregnancy symptom While others experience constipation, my digestive system becomes completely whacky and I experience the opposite.

So it could be that, or the dreaded tummy virus

Thanks guys. I though a stomach virus would be more frequent... but I'll see how I feel today. I've never had any side effects from the estrogen patches either, but these are different patches than last time so it was the only thing I could think of.

I've been on 3 different types of estrogen and never had stomach problems. There is a bad stomach bug going around my office though so it's probably that. Feel better.

Thanks- I don't feel sick at all.... it's just weird. Nothing's happened this morning, so I'll just wait it out and see - hopefully it was just a fluke thing.
